Discovery – second Daft Punk's studio album. It was recorded in years 1998-2000 and released March 13th 2001 by Virgin Records. Album is produced by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. Total running time of the album is 61:01.
Interstella 5555
In 2001, Daft Punk collaborated with japanese manga/anime director Leiji Matsumoto. Effect of their work was Interstella 5555, full-length anime feature produced by Matsumoto and written by Daft Punk and Cédric Hervet. It's the first animated house musical in the history.
The movie contains no dialogue, only some minimalistic sound effects. All story is narrated by songs from Discovery.

Limited Edition
Limited edition of Discovery on Enhanced CD was released in 2001, only in Japan, for Interstella 5555 additional promotion. Limited edition contains booklet with new and unreleased Daft Punk pictures from their japanese session.
